I’ve been given the go ahead to tell you something. Don’t worry, there’s no need to keep it a secret. I’m happy to announce that we’ve partnered with Silverpoint. That’s right, a Magnus Health, Silverpoint integration.
This means the lives of administrators at schools using both Magnus and Silverpoint are going to be simplified. The new partnership offers a single sign on (SSO) integration, along with account provisioning. The integration was designed to save time for both school administrators and parents, increase communication, and reduce confusion due to multiple logins.
To take advantage of the integration, Silverpoint schools can simply request the add-on from Silverpoint, at which time an SSO link can be placed on any secure login location, allowing parent access to the Magnus SMR. This process allows for a seamless transition between Silverpoint and Magnus Health, providing one click access to update health information, without the need for multiple logins and passwords.
“We are very excited about the integration with Silverpoint. This new integration relationship will allow our users and data to flow seamlessly between our two systems. The focus of the nurse and the school can once again be on the student and not reconciling databases,” said Chas Scarantino, Magnus Health CEO.
The seamless communication and SSO are facilitated via Magnus and Silverpoint APIs, which authenticate, create, and register Silverpoint users in SMR. SSO reduces password fatigue among parents and decreases the volume of password-related phone calls to the IT department. If the parent and student(s) do not exist in SMR, the SSO integration auto provisions the users in Magnus. Student/Parent Synchronization between the two platforms keeps active parents and student accounts consistent and current, as Magnus Health is updated nightly from Silverpoint.
